The Chinese Norwegian Aquaculture Information Platform (CNAIP) is a non-profit organization made up of professionals who have an interest in aquaculture research and/or technology development. CNAIP was established in 2009. The majority of CNAIP members are scientists, researchers and specialists. They have working experience, by and large, in government agencies, universities, research institutes as well as in the aquaculture industries. Some are conducting pioneering research in China and Norway, whereas others are directly involved in the field of aquaculture.
CNAIP is committed to promoting science, technology, and business development in the aquaculture fields through information exchange and by fostering research and business collaborations. It brings scientists and business practitioners together and aims to establish links between basic and applied research, between academia and industry, and between researchers and entrepreneurs. CNAIP is also committed to facilitating all types of aquaculture-focused collaborations between China and Norway.
